How to Identify, Create and Enhance Business to Business (B2B) Relationships with LGBT Certified Suppliers

Many professionals have been tasked with identifying, creating and enhancing business-to-business (B2B) relationships with diverse suppliers; we believe that one category of under-represented diversity is the LGBT community.

Quorum is excited to announce an LGBT Certification Initiative to enhance these relationships on a local and national level with LGBT Certified Suppliers!  

This is where we need help.

We are targeting Diversity Officers, Employee Resource Group (ERG) Leaders, Procurement Professionals and Business Owners who are willing to volunteer on an on-going basis and work on this initiative. Multiple members from a single organization are welcome. Procurement involvement is strongly encouraged.

 We are reaching out to the Corporate Community, the Supplier Community, the State and other Organizations who have a vested interest in enhancing their relationships and procurement with qualified and certified LGBT Businesses.

A successful roundtable session was held at Best Buy last winter with representatives from the State, Target, US Bank, Medtronic, General Mills, Ecolab, UPS, Cargill, St. Jude Medical, Best Buy and Quorum.  With this initiative we are looking to expand on that success and establish a broadly represented team dedicated to working on the challenges we face.

Join us on this journey as we grow B2B relationships within the LGBT business community. An Executive Summary is provided below detailing the specific challenges and suggested solutions we are looking for volunteers to work on.
