Jay Miller
Imagehaus

“IMAGE IS EVERYTHING in a media-soaked world,” says Jay Miller, and that’s where his premier design firm, Imagehaus, comes in. Self-described visual zealot, Miller’s deeper understanding of the impact of design sets him apart from his highly competitive peers. Imagehaus creates everything from brand names, identity systems, and point of sale promotions to catalogs, packaging, and advertising. Imagehaus moves strategy to design and production.

Miller founded Imagehaus after accumulating an extensive arsenal of the best experience on both the client and agency sides of the design, advertising, and publishing business. Before blazing his own path, his extensive experience spanned some sixteen years where he was known for outstanding creative and award-winning work. More than providing stunning, iconic concepts, Miller’s vision for Imagehaus was, from the first, “an environment built on trust…working toward the same goal—creating design that works hard for the client that accomplishes what needs to be done.” Clearly, Imagehaus is fulfilling Miller’s vision. His clientele includes image-conscious corporations like Target, Kuhlman Company, and the Mall of America, but his impact extends into a number of other firms who have benefited from his innovative touch. The firm is crafting top-notch creative products in a nurturing and fun environment.

Not satisfied with simply being a community business leader, Miller was recently awarded certification by the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce as part of its Supplier Diversity Initiative. Imagehaus is now counted among the pioneering GLBT-owned enterprises that can now connect with large corporations seeking to add GLBTEs to their supply chain diversity. The program is a monumental opportunity for businesses that can serve large corporate clients and Imagehaus is clearly the perfect candidate for the program.

Those who know Jay Miller will tell you that there’s much more behind the creative force that blossomed into one of the foremost design firms in the Twin Cities. Imagehaus is a workplace that embodies fairness, inclusion, and encouragement, but his work with the Human Rights Campaign, Grace House, Clare Housing, and Open Arms reaches countless people who may never have the opportunity to experience the captivating, upscale gallery ambience that makes up the Imagehaus workplace. He is described by others as caring genuinely about the success and well-being of others. His unwavering commitment to the community often goes unseen, ironic for a man whose livelihood is predicated on image. Then again, it’s Jay Miller to a tee in his own words: “Be different and be true.”
